Unfortunately, due to the security model on these devices, it is not possible to download files directly to an iPad, iPod, iPhone or other similar Apple devices. You will need to download your purchases to a desktop or laptop running iTunes and transfer them manually.
FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec, and is an audio file format similar to MP3 but is completely lossless, meaning that audio is compressed without any loss in quality. The audio file is therefore at the full quality of the original CD. FLAC is of a higher quality than audio which is encoded using MP3 or AAC coding (AAC coding is used by iTunes). Our back catalogue of recordings is now available for the first time in FLAC. All future FLAC releases will be at higher than CD quality.
We recommend playing FLAC files in VLC media player when using a laptop or computer. VLC media player is compatible with Windows and Mac (including iPhones and iPads), and can be downloaded HERE.
Currently FLAC files are not compatible with iTunes. However, we now offer audio in ALAC, the Apple Lossless Audio Codec format, which is fully compatible with iTunes.
We are now excited to offer you another audio format for downloads: ALAC. Apple Lossless Audio Codec provides you with audio files which are at the original high quality but with a smaller file size than other file types (such as WAV). ALAC is Apple's equivalent of FLAC and is fully compatible with iTunes. ALAC can only be played back on Apple devices within iTunes.
Log in to your account through the website using the link in the top right hand corner. Click 'LOG IN' or click 'MY ACCOUNT' (in the same place) if you are already logged in to your account. From your account page, click 'My Downloadable Products' in the list on the left hand side. You will be able to view a table of your purchases with blue buttons containing the title of your tracks or album.
PLEASE NOTE: Left clicking on these buttons will open the track in a new tab and begin playing. This counts as one of your 5 downloads. Once you have clicked the link 5 times it will expire and you will be unable to download this track. To save the track to your computer: Right click on the button and choose 'Save link as...' from the drop down menu. Save the file on your computer, where you will then be able to transfer it onto a mobile device.

From July 2021, there have been changes to the way VAT applies when making Business to Consumer (B2C) supplies of goods delivered from the UK to EU states. (Note: There have been no changes to the rules on electronically supplied services such as downloads or subscriptions).
World of Brass Customer Service Team’s objective is to ensure you receive the physical goods you have selected and ordered as quickly as possible, with minimum delay and without the need to separately pay VAT locally before taking delivery in EU states. Our B2C courier arrangements define you the customer as the Importer of Record of these goods. Our carriage and packing fee incorporates associated costs and therefore our invoice will show items as zero rated exports for UK VAT purposes.
Our supply of goods will be treated as made on a B2C basis if a customer cannot supply a VAT number when ordering on behalf of a business or other type of organisation. We hope this clarifies your delivery and duty/tax charges - if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact our Customer Services Team on +44 1933 445445 or email email@example.com.
