Brass in concert has firmly established itself as one of the most prestigious entertainment competitions in the world. The 2017 event looked outwards, embracing international bands and offering an immersive environment to players, supporters and audience members of all ages.
This two disc DVD, courtesy of World of Brass, provides a welcome throwback to the weekend and the multitude of workshops, master classes and breakout performances that took place in almost every nook and cranny of The Sage, Gateshead.
Bonus features provide an insight into the Workshops that took place during the weekend, at which participants performed with members of Cory and MD, Philip Harper.
For those fortunate enough to have attended and those who may have missed out, this is a fine memento from a memorable weekend of music-making. Bring on 2018!
