Academic and musician Dr Matthew van Emmerik has recorded the solo works of influential brass band composer and symphony orchestra pioneer Percy Code.
Ever since the academic and musician won Ballarat's Percy Code open solo at the age of 15 he credits the pioneering musician with his own lifelong passion for music. After harbouring the idea for over a decade, Dr van Emmerik has finally recorded the full list of Code's solo works.
