No. 366 March - Have Faith (Ian Clarke).Three choruses feature in this march and, although the word 'faith' does not appear in any of them, two are undoubtedly songs of faith - namely 'Lean on his arm' and 'I believe in the word of God'. The third, 'A little star peeps o'er the hill' touches on a child-like faith with the line, 'The children clasp their hands in prayer'.
No. 367 Three songs of worship (Martin Cordner). The songs in question are, 'Days of Elijah', 'I stand in awe of you' and 'My life is in you, Lord'.
No. 368 Promenade (Mussorgsky arr. David E Jones).Promenade is the opening and recurring theme of 'Pictures at an Exhibition', a famous suite for piano by Modest Mussorgsky later orchestrated by Maurice Ravel and others.
No. 369 Festival March - Icehouse Celebration (Andrew Mackereth). This march was written for a reunion at Hull Icehouse Corps at which the composer grew up in the late 1970s and 1980s. The march uses tunes that the composer associates with the 'Icehouse' and personalities there to whom he owes a great debt of gratitude to for their guiding influence on his life. The corps is known as Hull Icehouse as the original building was erected on the site of an old ice-house.
